The excessive use of chemical pesticides in agriculture has caused various negative impacts on human health and the environment, such as harmful residues in food, pest resistance, and environmental pollution. Organic pesticides have emerged as a safer and more environmentally friendly alternative, with active ingredients derived from natural sources. This study aims to analyze the benefits of organic pesticides in enhancing food safety and environmental health through a literature review of 10 research journals. The findings indicate that organic pesticides can reduce chemical residues, maintain ecosystem balance, and improve the quality and sustainability of agriculture. Education and policy support are needed to promote broader adoption of organic pesticides among farmers. One of the problems often faced by farmers, especially vegetable growers are pests that can damage to crops. Farmers using chemical pesticides to control pests such as chemical pesticides sold in the market and is very effective in killing pests. However, the use of chemical pesticides, especially in the long term and constantly very dangerous. Alternative use of organic pesticides are much more environmentally friendly and non-toxic is a better solution to replace chemical pesticides. The specific objectives of this service activity is to provide adequate knowledge to vegetable farmers about the dangers of chemical pesticides and excess organic pesticides as well as to develop the potential of natural materials as raw material for making organic pesticides that can increase crop yield and economic value of vegetables. The results of this activities showed the public were keen to use organic pesticides instead of chemical pesticides.
