Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the significance of the effect of company size, leverage, and profitability on the value of Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period.

Design/Methodology/approach: This study uses a quantitative approach with a population and research sample using Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period. This study used a purposive sampling method, so that 12 representative samples were obtained according to the criteria determined by the researcher.

Findings: Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that firm size had a partial positive effect on firm value, partially negative leverage had no significant effect on firm value, profitability had a partial positive and significant effect on firm value, and firm size, leverage, and profitability

Research Implications: The practical implications of the results of this research can help investors as decision-makers regarding Company Size, Leverage, Profitability on Firm Value. Theoretical implications of the results of this study can explain agency theory and signal theory. This empirical policy implication provides evidence regarding the effect of Firm Size, Leverage, Profitability on Firm Value.

Originality / Value: The originality of this research can be shown from the difference with previous research, first (Dewantari, 2019) explains that company size, leverage and profitability have a significant simultaneous effect on company value.
