EMPOWERING LEADERSHIP TERHADAP KINERJA PERAWAT DAN DAMPAKNYA PADA KEPATUHAN PATIENT SAFETY GOALS DI RUMAH SAKIT

Pendahuluan: Empowering leadership dipandang sebagai pendekatan kepemimpinan yang mampu meningkatkan kinerja perawat, namun bukti empiris mengenai dampaknya terhadap kepatuhan keselamatan pasien masih terbatas, khususnya dalam konteks rumah sakit. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan potong lintang. Sampel terdiri dari 68 perawat pelaksana yang bekerja di berbagai unit pelayanan rumah sakit dan dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur untuk mengukur empowering leadership, kinerja perawat, dan kepatuhan terhadap patient safety goals. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa empowering leadership, kinerja perawat, dan kepatuhan terhadap patient safety goals berada pada kategori tinggi. Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara empowering leadership dan kinerja perawat (r = 0,62; p < 0,01), empowering leadership dan kepatuhan keselamatan pasien (r = 0,58; p < 0,01), serta kinerja perawat dan kepatuhan terhadap patient safety goals (r = 0,67; p < 0,01). Kesimpulan: Empowering leadership berhubungan erat dengan peningkatan kinerja perawat dan kepatuhan terhadap patient safety goals. Penguatan kepemimpinan yang berorientasi pada pemberdayaan berpotensi menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan mutu dan keselamatan pelayanan keperawatan di rumah sakit.
