Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the process of improving the quality of learning at the MI Nurul Islam Pongangan Gresik school. This study uses a qualitative approach and a descriptive type of research, including principals and teachers, data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques using analytical models. Miles and Huberman which consists of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data by using triangulation techniques and sources.

The results of this study indicate that improving the quality of learning at the MI Nurul Islam Pongangan Gresik school can be concluded as follows (1) Planning (Planning) is carried out by the principal by making a schedule and socializing it with teachers before supervision activities are carried out. Planning is prepared in order to make the educational supervision activities successful. (2) Observation of supervision activities is carried out by the principal in the classroom by participating in the learning process from opening to closing. This is done in order to record the results of the supervision activities and will be followed up by the principal (3) Follow-up / Feedback is carried out by the principal by calling the teacher after the educational supervision activity process is complete in order to provide the results of the activity. So that a teacher knows where the shortcomings or mistakes are in the learning process. The results of the cycle in this study aim to improve the quality of learning that will be carried out by an educator at the MI Nurul Islam Pongangan school.
