Abstract

This study aims to describe the Implementation of Teacher Management in Efforts to Form Characteristics of Students at SDN 35 Kebomas Gresik. This study used a qualitative approach and a descriptive research type, including school principals, teachers and students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques in this study, starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or verification.

 

The results of this study indicate that teacher management in the formation of the character of students at SDN 35 Kebomas Gresik is as follows (1) Planning for the management of student character formation makes program designs that are made from the start to make guidelines for the learning planning stage and character building in class. (2) Organizing or main tasks related to the formation of student characteristics using the cooperative stage, providing opportunities for teachers to improve their profession, and encouraging the involvement of all teachers in various activities that support school programs, especially in terms of forming student characteristics so that they become better (3 ) The implementation of teacher teaching related to the formation of characteristics in students, at the beginning of learning has been given motivation, training, and usually uses a strategy so that teachers can understand the conditions experienced by students so that they can be changed in such a good way and the implementation system in character building will also produce results or being able to achieve the target desired by students in changing their characteristics. related to the material so that the implementation of teaching goes well. (4) Evaluation of teacher management or management at school, all teachers carry out evaluations at the end of each lesson and the principal conducts evaluations every weekend to find out the teaching and learning process in class.
