Healthcare facilities produce various types of medical waste that can potentially harm human health and the environment if not managed properly. This study aims to analyze medical waste management, including the collection, sorting, temporary storage, transportation, and disposal processes. The method used was descriptive observational through direct observation and interviews with relevant staff. The results showed that all stages of waste management were carried out in accordance with applicable regulations, starting from the use of standard containers, sorting by waste category, managing Temporary Storage Sites (TPS) that meet technical requirements, to transportation and disposal by licensed third parties. Overall, healthcare facilities have implemented a good and safe medical waste management system, although increased training and periodic evaluation are still needed to maintain the quality of waste management.
