Perancangan UI/UX Cabaiku Greenhouse System untuk Prototipe Deteksi Penyakit Daun Cabai

Plant diseases can reduce crop productivity, while conventional identification of leaf symptoms depends strongly on user knowledge. Cabaiku Greenhouse System was designed as a mobile UI/UX prototype that supports early identification of chili leaf diseases through a photo-based interaction and provides access to diagnosis information, treatment recommendations, and plant-care features. This study focuses specifically on the design and usability evaluation of the prototype and does not cover functional application development or technical evaluation of the machine learning model. The design process consisted of user profiling, empathy mapping, minimum viable product definition, sitemap development, user-flow design, wireframing, and high-fidelity interface design. Usability was evaluated using task-based testing and a ten-item System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The available project data showed positive mean ratings for ease of use (4.24), learnability (4.17), confidence (4.14), and functional integration (3.93) on a five-point scale. Task testing showed that users could complete the land-addition and disease-detection tasks, while the plant-care tips task was difficult because users could not easily locate the relevant navigation. The reported average task duration was approximately 15 seconds per task. The findings indicate that the prototype has promising basic usability, while navigation consistency, onboarding, and the discoverability of post-diagnosis care information require further refinement.
