Abstract

PurposeThe research aims to examines and proves the influence of motivation, leadership style and work discipline on member’s performance of Gresik District Pamong Praja Police Unit. Pamong Praja Police Unit is an agency in charge of managing the field of legislation enforcement, community protection and peace, public order in the region. This research is important especially in performance of Gresik District Pamong Praja Police Unit which is still not optimal in enforcing Regional Regulation so that it is very important in realizing the implementation of Good Government Governance.

Method—This research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression. Amount of sample taken 83 respondents and data collection is done with a questionnaire to obtain data.

Finding—Result of this research  are motivation partially affects performance, leadership style partially affects performance, work discipline partially affects performance and overall motivation, leadership style and work discipline simultaneously affect the  performance of members of the Gresik Regency Pamong Praja Police Unit.

Implications — Theoretical implications of the results of this study can explain the concept of performance management. The policy implications of the results of this study can provide empirical evidence that motivation, leadership style, work discipline, effect on the performance of member
