PERAN STRES KERJA, BEBAN KERJA DAN KINERJA DALAM PRODUKTIVITAS KARYAWAN PT. WILMAR NABATI GRESIK
Abstract
Purpose-This study aims to determine the effect of work stress, workload and performance on work productivity of employees in the operational department of PT. Wilmar Nabati Indonesia Gresik. This research is important to do because employees are required to achieve more targets and survive in existing conditions, so employees must still have good performance at work in order to succeed in achieving what is targeted by the company.
Method- This research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The number of samples taken was 67 respondents using a questionnaire in data collection.
Finding- Partially work stress and workload have no effect on employee work productivity, while performance has a positive and significant effect on work productivity of employees of the operational department of PT. Wilmar Nabati Indonesia Gresik. Simultaneously the variables of work stress, workload and performance have a positive and significant effect on the work productivity of the employees of the operational department of PT. Wilmar Nabati Indonesia Gresik.
Implications- Analysis shows that work stress and workload do not affect productivity. However, companies still have to minimize this so that it does not impact work productivity. While performance affects work productivity so that companies need to improve employee performance efficiently and effectively so that employee work productivity also increases. This study emphasizes that work stress and excessive workload can reduce employee performance which has an impact on work productivity.
